Spent the last few days modifying the rear radius rods to be adjustable and fitting the rear axle properly. It was then found that the axle was hitting the wooden chassis. The shock absorber was disconnected from its top mount on the side that had the issue and axle adjusted to clear wooden chassis. In photo below you can then see shock absorber was then no longer aligned to the hole in the bracket (probably 5mm error).
Bracket was removed, hole welded up and re drilled into correct place. I’m sure I’ll have to make a few more adjustment like this as I reassemble the car.
