Made a new set of pivots for bonnet out of stainless steel (used a section of left over exhaust pipe).

I’ve not done much to the car recently but managed to start bonding the new wooden brackets for the bonnet in place today. Hopefully I’ll be able to trial fit the bonnet tomorrow.

Made a new set of wooden brackets for the bonnet and they are ready to bond in place once I get some time.

Cut and installed the gearbox cover today along with the wood for the parcel shelve. The gearbox cover turned out ok in the end as I feared I would have to have another attempt at making it.

Not sure how it’s going to turn out but photo below shows me attempting to make a new cover for the gear box.
The nex5 photo shows some metal plates that have been recessed into a piece of plywood. This will eventually be drill and tapped to hold the door hinges.
