Well today got my uncle to come over and give me a hand for a couple of hours. My wood working skills are improving but I’m not up to planning a scarf joint on my own so asked him to give me some help. Took home an hour but he carefully planned a taper onto the end of the plywood sheet and another section to enable me to extend the ply wood floor to cover the boot of the car. Once he left I glued and clamped up the new section using nearly every clamp I own. Won’t know how successful it’s been till I remove all the clamps in the morning.
