Front sub frame painted in primer again after the modifications.
I’ve also painted the horns and brake callipers

Prop shaft painted and new bearings installed.

So cut a few more bits out of the frame to be able to lower the radiator by another 25mm. Once this was done the radiator now fitted under the bonnet. Photo below shows the part I cut out of the frame and so far I’ve welded up one side.

Tried fitting the new radiator and discovered it was a bit thicker than the original (maybe 10mm) so wouldn’t fit. Cut a few bits out of the chassis to make it fit.
After that I assembled the front end of the car and installed the bonnet to ensure the radiator didn’t hit the bonnet. Unfortunately the new radiator is slightly taller than the original so it now hits the bonnet. Tomorrow I have to have another go at the front sub frame to make it fit.

New aluminium radiator for the car arrived today. Will need to trial fit it before I paint the front sub frame.
