Still avoiding working on the fiber glass. The oil pick up pipe for my engine was badly bent/damaged. A new one cost £60 so machined section of pipe to the correct OD and welded on a couple of metal washers to make a new one.

Metal fabrication day, two new brackets that hold the horns in place.
This was followed by two stainless steel plates that hold the door strap in place so car door doesn’t open too much. Not much left of originals so decided stainless steel would be a better material as there would be no need to paint and they won’t rust no matter how wet they get inside the door.

One of the original door hinges was badly damaged so have made a replacement.

Had a break from the wood work and made some new brackets shock absorber brackets so I will be able to fit the axle.
